Why We Built Gen2

Big-screen shooting has become easier to set up, but much of what made it exciting has been left behind. Pulling a trigger on a controller is not the same as handling a gun, feeling it kick, reloading it with your hands and staying physically involved in the action.

Gen2 brings those parts back without asking you to build an arcade around them. M17 and M416 put recoil, reloads and two different styles of gun handling in your hands, while Vision Tracker uses AI-powered screen recognition to bring direct aiming to modern diplays you own.
 
From supported PC light-gun games to Wonderfitter Shooting Lab and practical shooting challenges, Gen2 is built to give that physical interaction somewhere to go — shot after shot, game after game.

Many light guns use vibration to simulate recoil. Gen2 uses a motor-driven mechanism that creates physical movement with every trigger pull.

Questions Before You Choose?

Clear answers before you select a Founder Reward.

What is Founder Early Access?

Founder Early Access is Wonderfitter’s direct paid early-order campaign for the first Gen2 batches. Each order belongs to a monthly Founder batch with its own estimated shipping month.

Will I be charged when I select a Founder Reward?

Yes. Founder Early Access uses paid orders. Your payment is collected at checkout and your order is assigned to a Founder batch.

What is included with a Gen2 Founder Reward?

Each M17 or M416 Founder Reward includes the selected Gen2 controller, Vision Tracker, Big-Screen Light Gun Mode, Shooting Lab access, and Founder Updates & Community Access. The Dual Reward includes both M17 Gen2 and M416 Gen2.

What do I need for standard big-screen play?

A compatible PC, compatible TV / monitor / projector, Vision Tracker, a Gen2 controller, and supported Wonderfitter software / games. Final compatibility and setup requirements will be published on the campaign page.

Do I need a VR headset?

No. The standard Gen2 experience is built for big-screen play. SteamVR is an optional expansion.

Can M17 Gen2 and M416 Gen2 work at the same time?

No. One PC and one display support one active Gen2 controller at a time. If you own both, you can switch between M17 and M416.

Is the Dual Reward a two-player setup?

No. The Dual Reward gives you two controller styles for the same Gen2 system. One active controller is used at a time.

Can multiple people use Gen2 during game night?

Yes, by taking turns. One active Gen2 controller is used at a time on one PC and one display.

What games does Gen2 support?

Gen2 supports Wonderfitter Shooting Lab and supported big-screen light-gun experiences. Confirmed third-party compatibility will be published only after validation.

Does every supported game use every Gen2 feature?

Feature behavior may vary by game and software setup. Confirmed functionality will be listed by supported title where applicable.

When will my Founder Reward ship?

Shipping depends on your Founder batch. October 2026 orders are currently estimated to ship in November 2026, with following monthly batches estimated to ship the next month.

Can I cancel my Founder order?

Cancellation requests may be submitted before an order enters fulfillment. Final cancellation and refund terms will be shown at checkout and in the official campaign policy.

Are shipping, taxes, and duties included?

Shipping, tax, and duty treatment depends on destination and the final campaign policy. The applicable terms should be shown clearly before checkout.

Is Gen2 a real firearm?

No. Wonderfitter Shooter Gen2 is a gaming controller for digital gameplay only. It does not fire any projectile.

What makes Gen2 different from a traditional light gun?

Gen2 is built as a wireless home arcade system with Vision Tracker screen-based aiming, motor-driven recoil feedback, reload interaction, and a three-step setup designed for modern game rooms.

Is Gen2 wireless?

Yes. Gen2 controllers are designed for wireless big-screen play within the supported Gen2 setup.
